On the southeast side, master-planned communities such as Anatolia, Sunridge and the Villages of Zinfandel were largely built from the early 2000s onward, with modern single-family homes and tree-lined streets. Closer to the original town along Folsom Boulevard, and around the former air base at Mather, the housing runs older, and the plumbing along with it.
